Celebrating Abigael

In 2022, 12 merit-based scholarships were awarded to students to cover enrollment fees so they may continue their education in preparation for university studies. Each and every scholarship recipient’s achievements are impressive, and Abigael’s story is truly powerful.
Her “Vision,” an exercise devised to help students set goals for the future, revolved around her becoming a Division One student. Division One indicates the highest score possible on the Form Four Tanzanian National Exam. Through hard work and commitment to her goals, Abigael became the first female student in her school to achieve this monumental goal and is the first girl to reach the top of her class.
